like to try this technology, visit the Heather
MacDonald Greene Multimedia Center on
the 3rd floor in Kent Library.
The following 3D printers are available for
use by all students, faculty, and staff:
Makerbot Replicator 5th Generation
Desktop 3D Printer
Makerbot Digitizer 3D Scanner
3Doodler 3D Printing Pens
Cubify Sense Portable 3D Scanner
The process is simple. Locate the file to be
printed, or create your own. While you can
take your file to the Multimedia Center, you
can also email the file and they will begin the
printing process. Files can be printed on
items that take from 1 minute to 12 hours.
For each print job, there is a $3 set-up fee
and $.05 per gram of material used.
